Holy Week

The holiest of all weeks for Christians is this week, which started today with Palm Sunday, the day that we remember the people welcoming Jesus to Jerusalem, riding on a donkey, by placing palms on the ground before Him. We remember Holy Thursday, the Last Supper, where Jesus instituted the Holy Eucharist, and then went into the garden of Gethsemane to pray. He was betrayed by Judas and brought before the Sanhedrin, sentenced to an unfair trail. On Good Friday we remember His passion and crucifixion, and at the 3:00 hour we remember His death on the cross. Jesus died to redeem us all, to save us from sin, if only we could take up our cross and follow Him who is “the way, the truth, and the life.”

This video sums up about everything that I could say, so I’ll let it do most of the talking this time:

Have a blessed Holy Week. It is the perfect time to meditate on the passion of our Lord and renew our lives in Him. Allow the Lord into your life, and He will do wondrous things.
